Have you seen Beauty and the Beast in theaters? I’ve watched it two weeks ago in Glorietta 2 right after this event. It’s very close to the cartoon version and it’s nice to see how it was made to life especially Emma Watson as Belle. I’m okay with the casting but I have to commend Luke Evans as Gaston. I’m not that impressed with Belle’s yellow gown in the movie thou. I find Sarah G’s more princess-y in her YouTube cover of the OST. PS. I’m not a movie critic guys, just my personal opinion. 🙂
Moving on, in celebration of the Beauty and the Beast, Gelish (world’s leading gel nail polish brand) and its sister brand Morgan Taylor released Beauty and The Beast Collection, a 7 lovely nail polish colors (gel and regular) inspired by the movie.

I chose Morgan Taylor “The Last Petal” for my toenails. It’s a deep velvet red color with micro-shimmer.
For my fingernails, I chose “Be Our Guest” by Gelish, and one with accent using the main color in the collection, “Enchanted Patina”, which you can wear alone (coppery gold to pink shade) or on top of any Morgan Taylor or Gelish Beauty and The Beast nails polish collection for the instant shimmery antique look.
Other shades are “Plumette with Excitement” – light pink creme color, “Days in the Sun” – a buttery yellow shade that reminds me of Belle’s yellow gown, “Gaston On and On” – cool light blue, and “Potts of Tea” – ivory white with pink shimmers.
All colors are available in Gelish (Gel) and Morgan Taylor (Regular). I used Gel for my hands and regular polish for my feet.

I’ve worn Gelish a few times already since most of my favorite nail salons carry the brand. It’s very popular worldwide and promises 21 days chip-and-peel free nails. Morgan Taylor is a nice brand too. Even if it’s not a Gel polish, it lasts on my nails for 1-2 weeks depending on my activities.
The Beauty and The Beast collection is available at all Beauty N’ Butter, Posh Nails, Nail Cocktales, Nail-a-holics, Kallista, and other leading nail salons nationwide.
What’s your favorite color from the collection? Enchanted Patina is the bomb. I like how it can transform just any color into a romantic vintage shade.
