I knew about Lush Cosmetics when I was in college. My best friend Kim introduced me to this brand. She loves their Lip Scrub (Bubblegum), Lipstick, and her all time favorite, Fairy Dust that she uses on special occasions to make her look extra glowy and sparkly! I started to explore their products. So far I’m lovin’ their soaps, bath bombs, dry shampoo, and coffee scrub!
During the holidays before I treat myself in a staycation (will post about it soon), I passed by Lush Cosmetics in Shangri-La and bought a few items from their Lush Christmas collection.
I bought two bath bombs, bubble bar, and a soap.
Imagine how the bathroom smells just after opening the paper bag!
Shoot for the Stars Bath Bomb P325.00
Luxury Lush Pud Bath Bomb P295.00
Magic Wand Reusable Bubble P395.00
Saucy Snow Cake P414.00
I asked the sales person for a lavender scent bath bomb and she recommended this Luxury Lush Pud. I love the relaxing scent and the bonus part is it’s pink and looks so pretty in the bath tub!
Luxury Lush Pud has Lavender Oil for balancing and calming effect, Tonka Absolute for the sweet scent, Benzoin Resinoid acts as anti-inflammatory, Ylang-Ylang oil for sweet and floral scent. It’s my most favorite bath bomb so far. It smells heavenly and very pleasing to the eyes when it melts into the water. I love how it makes my skin super soft, smooth, and fragrant. It just makes me sad that this product is seasonal. Make sure to hoard when it’s available!
For a more magical bath experience I used the Magic Wand Reusable Bubble Bar.
The featured ingredient for this is Cream of Tartar and Sodium Bicarbonate for the dreamy and frothy bubbles. It has sweet and musky fragrance. I find it a perfect combo with Luxury Lush Pud!
In the morning before I checked out from the hotel, I delight myself in a warm bath with Shoot for the Stars Bath Bomb. I already enjoyed watching as it melts in the water. The stars were a bit slower to dissolve making the tub looks like a sparkly sky with stars.
It has Brazilian Orange Oil for a refreshing scent, Bergamot Oil, Coconut Cream and Organic Cocoa Butter for softening and conditioning the skin. I feel like I’m ready to face the day after soaking with myself in the water with this bath bomb. My skin feels super soft with a hint of shimmers.
Lastly, a soap perfect for dry skin during the holiday season due to the weather is this Saucy Snowcake soap! Unfortunately after I took a bath, I left it in the shower closet in the hotel where I stayed (My heart is breaking just by thinking of it!)
It has Soothing rose to help calm the skin, Fruity Cranberries and Cashews help gently exfoliate the skin, and Fair Trade cocoa butter makes the skin soft. I love how it melts on my skin while I shower. It smells like Vanilla Ice Cream (oh how I love Vanilla!).
