When we say lechon, in a Filipino setting, it’s all about gatherings. You can now get the special taste of Cebu Lechon here in Manila! A few weeks ago we tried Porky Pit lechon, a new Brand of Diancia Trading Inc, with the goal to offer a “Cebu Lechon on Go” with the best part of lechon, lechon belly as Lechonarma (Lechon in a Shawarma).

They offer Lechon Belly per kilo (500 pesos for 1 Kilo) which is perfect for big group of people and parties. You can avail their delivery service within Metro Manila with a minimum order of 4 kilos. It can last up to a week, just keep it frozen.

Cebu is known for their spices and herbs particularly the combination of lemon grass, leeks, salt, pepper, and garlic as stuffing inside the pig’s belly.Porky Pit Lechon Belly with the same ingredient traditional Cebu Lechon; That is a roasted belly slowly cooked over oven heat in correct temperature to retain the crispiness of the skin. In your kitchen it is not practical to cook the whole pig but we can get portion of it and cook with your ordinary oven or turbo broiler. The good part of the pig is its belly. But aside of stuffing the pork with spices and herbs, we will also marinate it with the basic ingredients of Lechon Cebu before roasting.
